Key Deadlines for 2026 Intake
Undergraduate (UCAS) Deadline Date Oxford/Cambridge/Medicine 15 October 2025 All other universities 31 January 2026 Extra Choice (if no offers) 26 February 2026 Clearing July – September 2026
Postgraduate (Taught Masters) Most UK universities operate on a rolling admissions basis for Master's programmes. However, there are practical deadlines:
September 2026 entry: Apply by June 2026 (earlier is better)
January 2027 entry: Apply by October 2026
Scholarships: Many have deadlines 3–6 months before the programme starts
Pro tip: Apply as early as possible. Popular programmes fill up quickly, and visa processing takes time.

The average annual fee for Pakistani students is approximately £18,000–£25,000 for undergraduate and £15,000–£30,000 for postgraduate programmes.
Living Costs The UK government requires you to show you can cover living costs. For 2026, the financial requirement is:

Choose up to 5 universities
Write your Personal Statement (max 4,000 characters)
Submit your application before the deadline
Receive offers (conditional or unconditional)
Accept your offer and apply for visa
Postgraduate: Direct Application
Research programmes on university websites
Prepare documents (transcripts, SOP, references)
Apply online through the university portal
Receive offer (usually within 4–8 weeks)
Accept offer and pay deposit (if required)
Apply for visa with CAS number
Scholarships for Pakistani Students
Chevening Scholarships — Fully funded, deadline: August (for next year)
Commonwealth Scholarships — Fully funded for Master's and PhD
GREAT Scholarships — £10,000 toward tuition
University-specific scholarships — Many offer 20–50% fee waivers
Student Visa (Tier 4 / Student Route) Once you have an unconditional offer and a CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) number, you can apply for a Student visa.
