Study in Ireland

Ireland has a strong tradition of academic excellence, with universities dating back to the 16th century. The country's higher education system includes 7 universities, 14 Institutes of Technology, and several private colleges. Irish universities are known for their research output, particularly in technology, pharmaceuticals, and business. Trinity College Dublin (founded 1592) and University College Dublin consistently rank among the top universities globally. Ireland is also home to the European headquarters of major tech companies including Google, Facebook, Apple, and Microsoft, creating unique opportunities for students in technology and business fields. The Irish education system follows the Bologna Process, ensuring compatibility with qualifications across Europe.

Tuition fees for non-EU/EEA students in Ireland range from EUR 10,000 to EUR 25,000 per year for undergraduate programmes and EUR 12,000 to EUR 35,000 per year for postgraduate programmes. Living costs are approximately EUR 12,000 to EUR 15,000 per year, with Dublin being the most expensive city. The Irish government requires non-EU/EEA students to show evidence of EUR 10,000 in their bank account to support themselves during their studies. Ireland offers a Stamp 1G visa (Post-Study Work visa) that allows graduates to work for up to 24 months after graduation. Scholarships from the Irish Government (Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships) and individual universities are available.
